Community Welfare for Children

COMMUNITY PROJECT

In 2004 this project created a beacon of hope amid a cycle of poverty and violence.  It was established with the aim of supporting needy children in Sir Lowry’s Pass by providing broad, sustained improvement in their educational opportunities through Kindergarten and School Sponsorships. Through our various projects we are trying to ensure that the children in South Africa grow up in a society free from misery, abuse and violence. We hope to enpower them to overcome poverty and prejudice and to achieve an independent, successful adulthood.

Your placement will be at a project your interest lies with most. You can assist house mother with little ones in the children’s home, be a teacher assistant at nursery school or primary school, as well as do some sport coaching with primary school kids. We have  many possibilities for  volunteer placements at this community project.
